Potreboval by som urobit pre moju app interface(GUI). Nieco take ze vo win okne budu nejake tlacitka, listboxy, checkboxy atd. a este jedno okno v ktorom bude bezat ina aplikacia. Je toto vo visual basicu mozne? je to velmi zlozite? oplati sa mi koli tomu zacat ucit visual basic?

a je to velmi tazke? lebo v C++ neovladam win api a toto je asi jednoduhsie.

Spraviť samotné rozhranie je jednoduché, systémom drag&drop si naťaháš prvky ktoré potrebuješ a máš. Potom musíš trochu pošpekulovať, ako to prepojiť s tvojou aplikáciou, keď však máš dobre spravené rozhrania tak to ide celkom ľahko. Dajú sa o tom nájsť tony informácií na webe (hľadaj RAD - rapid application development alebo event-driven programming). (Tu je ukážka staršej verzie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXoZrw_-_3A )

a ohladom toho "subwindow" v ktorom by bezala ta moja graficka aplikacia?

No samotné Visual Studio obsahuje knižnice, ktoré sa postarajú o vykreslenie celého okna, interakciu s užívateľom atď.
